Ines Simy is an Ivorian Master’s student in Applied Economics at George Washington University. As a bilingual African woman, Ines is passionate about creating spaces where African women feel seen, celebrated, and empowered. She founded AWL at GWU with a simple belief: every African woman deserves to be seen—and AWL at GW exists to make sure she is.
