Why AWL Global Exists?
African women are among the most educated, most resilient, and most entrepreneurial people on the planet. And yet, the structures that convert ambition into access, talent into opportunity, and potential into power have rarely been built with them in mind.
AWL Global exists to change that.
We are building a global ecosystem: one that connects African women across universities, careers, entrepreneurship, and leadership — and that operates with the institutional credibility to open doors at the highest levels.
From university campuses to the United Nations. From Accra to the diaspora. From first internship to founding partner. AWL Global walks alongside African women at every stage of their journey.

Founder & President
Tatenda Dzvimbo
Tatenda Dzvimbo, from Zimbabwe, is an economist, youth diplomat, social entrepreneur, and international civic leader committed to advancing women's leadership, economic empowerment, and global development.
Vice President
Peace Mojekwu
Peace Mojekwu is passionate about creating safe spaces where women can thrive, connect and access the resources they need to step into their full potential. Peace hails from Nigeria and holds a bachelors and masters in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma.
Director of Chapters
Diane Ndisebuye
Originally from Eswatini, Diane Ndisebuye is passionate about empowering young African women to lead, connect, and create meaningful change in their communities. She holds a Master of Public Health from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Public Health from the University of Oklahoma.
